Farmer Daniel has been improving the Cerro Bolo Onion for the past 23 years by selective breeding for early maturity, large size, long-keeping ability, and spherical shape. The Onion plants are sold in bundles of 25 plants. They should be planted as early as possible, and kept weed-free to insure large size bulbs at harvest time which happens between August 20th and September 10th.
